Migrating to iManage Cloud for Postmark

We suggest customers be on the new Postmark code; please reach out to Support to find out if you need and upgrade or current patches.


BEFORE Cloud Migration:

  • Gather the newpostmarkdoc.zip - this will be located on your Postmark Application server
    • Note this is the same zip uploaded into your local Work 10 Control Center- let me know if you have trouble finding this and we'll look together
  • Go to the Postmark Delivery Service on the Postmark Application server desktop (icon is DS)
    • Run that application as the administrator
    • Gather the Client Id and Client Secret 
      • Copy text into the form below

Create a ticket with iManage, they will need to create the two new apps for your firm; see request below

• Postmark Work 10 Web Extension – Please see attached

AFTER Cloud Migration; go to the Postmark Application server


IIS

  • Open IIS
  • Navigate down to iManage Web Ext
  • Open Application Settings
    • Update iManageRestAPIUrl make sure to leave /api/v2/
    • At Hodgson Russ your iManage:UseNewEndpointFormat should be true
    • Update work.AuthorizationEndpoint from login to Auth
    • Update work.Server, be sure to leave the slash at the end
    • Update work.TokenEndpoint from login to auth and auth access_token to token



Postmark Delivery Service

  • Go to the Postmark Delivery Service on the Postmark Application server desktop (icon is DS) 
    • Run as administrator
    • Update the iManage Server URL
    • Check the box for Cloud
    • Click Test Credentials in the iManage section
    • Restart the Postmark Delivery for DMS in Services
