Migrating to iManage Cloud for Postmark

Customers should reach out to Support to determine if their system is running the latest version of the iManage integration before the migration.


BEFORE Cloud Migration:

  • Gather the newpostmarkdoc.zip - this will be located on your Postmark Application server
    • Note this is the same zip uploaded into your local Work 10 Control Center- let me know if you have trouble finding this and we'll look together
  • Go to the Postmark Delivery Service on the Postmark Application server desktop (icon is DS)
    • Run that application as the administrator
    • Gather the Client Id and Client Secret 
      • Copy text into the form below

Create a ticket with iManage, they will need to create the two new apps for your firm; see request below

This is the client and secret for the Postmark Upload Service for iManage

AFTER Cloud Migration; go to the Postmark Application server


IIS

  • Open IIS
  • Navigate down to iManage Web Ext
  • Open Application Settings
    • Update iManageRestAPIUrl make sure to leave /api/v2/
    • Update iManage:UseNewEndpointFormat should be true
    • Update work.AuthorizationEndpoint from login to Auth
    • Update work.Server, be sure to leave the slash at the end
    • Update work.TokenEndpoint from login to auth and auth access_token to token



Postmark Delivery Service

  • Go to the Postmark Delivery Service on the Postmark Application server desktop (icon is DS) 
    • Run as administrator
    • Update the iManage Server URL - If using a subdomain this must match
    • Check the box for Cloud
    • Click Test Credentials in the iManage section
    • Restart the Postmark Delivery for DMS in Services
